La semana pasada estuve con mi compañero de cuarto cuando decidimos empezar atrabajar en los detalles para su boda. Ella quería encontrar palabras o poemas para la ceremonia y para poner de favores en la recepción. Buscamos a través de muchos poemas tratando de encontrar el perfecto. Encontré algunos que me encantó. El primer poema que he encontrado es de Elizabeth Barrett Browning, un autor que había estudiado previamente en la escuela secundaria. Ella es perfecta con las palabras, y creo que este es el poema de la boda más tradicional.

El segundo poema que he encontrado es de Sir Edwin Arnold y me encanta como semuestra a dos almas perdidas reunión como uno solo. La "larga noche"de su vida anterior ha terminado, y su nueva vida con su cónyuge es el día eterno.

Hay tantos poemas que me gustaría haber leído en mi boda, pero creo que estos dosson los más fieles al verdadero significado del matrimonio y el amor.
